Broad Front candidate promises certainty, stability for Uruguay

Las Piedras, Uruguay, Nov 20 (EFE).- Yamandú Orsi, presidential candidate for the opposition Broad Front (Frente Amplio), closed his campaign on Thursday in Las Piedras, Uruguay, with a call for ‘a country of certainties’.

Accompanied by vice presidential candidate Carolina Cosse, Orsi underlined his coalition's readiness to govern, citing its majority in the Senate as the basis for transformative leadership.

Orsi highlighted his vision of a nation in which investment, job creation and accessible healthcare ensure stability and growth.

Uruguayans will go to the polls on Sunday for the presidential run-off, in which they will choose between Orsi and Cosse of the Broad Front or Delgado and Ripoll of the National Party coalition. (Camera: ALEJANDRO PRIETO)
