Brazil pays tribute to the journalist and indigenist murdered a year ago in the Amazon

Rio de Janeiro, June 5 (EFE).- With a heartfelt tribute in Rio de Janeiro and in other cities of the country, Brazil remembered on Monday the British journalist Dom Phillips and the indigenist Bruno Araújo, murdered a year ago in the Amazon.

The double homicide occurred near the municipality of Atalaia do Norte, in an inhospitable place close to the border with Peru and Colombia, where they collected information for the book that Phillips was writing about threats against the Indians.
