Boluarte denies owning valuable watches and jewelry and asks to "move on"

Lima, April 5 (EFE).- The President of Peru, Dina Boluarte, denied on Friday owning Rolex watches and other jewelry purchases worth thousands of dollars and asked her compatriots to "move on" on this issue after testifying for over five hours before the Prosecutor's Office.

In a statement given to the press at the Government Palace in Lima, Boluarte stated that the luxury watches she has worn at public events were a loan from the governor of the southern region of Ayacucho, Wilfredo Oscorima. (Camera: MIKHAIL HUACÁN).
