Bolsonaro's party asks to invalidate the elections won by Lula

Brasilia, Nov 22 (EFE), (Camera: Alex Mirkhan).- The Liberal Party (PL), which supported the frustrated candidacy for reelection of Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, asked the electoral authorities on Tuesday to invalidate the result of the elections won by Luiz InĂ¡cio Lula da Silva.

IMAGES FROM THE PRESS CONFERENCE AND OUTSIDE. STATEMENTS BY VALDEMAR COSTA NETO, PRESIDENT OF THE LIBERAL PARTY, CARLOS ROCHA, ENGINEER, MARCELO BESSA, LAWYER.

Valdemar Costa Neto, president of the Liberal Party:

"I was coming to say that today we are here with a single intention: to contribute to the strengthening of democracy in our country."

Carlos Rocha, engineer:

"This is a very strong indication of failure, of malfunction of the ballot box, because it is impossible to associate the registration of each activity with the hardware, the physical equipment that would have generated that activity."

Marcelo Bessa, lawyer:

"As determined by our contracted technical area, these inconsistencies do not allow us to attest to the result or that said ballot boxes effectively recorded the electoral result."
