Bogota audience thrilled by Cirque du Soleil's tribute to Messi | Video

Bogotá, May 15 (EFE).- Cirque du Soleil delighted the Bogotá audience on Wednesday with the debut of 'Messi10,' a spectacular show that combines music, technology, and football to honour Argentine soccer star Lionel Messi.

Thirty artists, including dancers and acrobats, performed in the first show of this unique tribute at the Gran Carpa Bogotá.

Directed by English choreographer Omar Mukthar and produced by Argentine Diego Sáenz, 'Messi10' delivered two and a half hours of entertainment, transforming the stage into a football stadium.

The show featured acts such as tightrope walking, diabolo performances, and football practice imitations, all telling the story of Messi's rise to become the best number 10 in the world. (Camera: JUAN DIEGO LÓPEZ).
