Quito, Dec 1 (EFE).- The protection of the Ecuadorian Amazon will require $19 billion worth of funds in the next 10 years, said Thursday a group of environmental organizations that demanded the inclusion of indigenous peoples in the planning and execution of these investments for the climate .In an assessment of the conclusions of COP27 held in Egypt, this group of Ecuadorian organizations highlighted at a press conference the need to increase financing for mitigation and adaptation to the climate crisis, especially in forest conservation and of biodiversity.
