Bilan, the first Somali media outlet with an all-women newsroom

Mogadishu (Somalia), May 7 (EFE).- Information by and about women despite all the obstacles that stand in the way of journalists in Somalia: that is the objective of Bilan, the first media outlet in the country with an all-women team.

"Now we have the confidence to carry out our work and change society's perception of women journalists," says Bilan's director, Nasrin Mohamed Ibrahim, firmly in an interview with Efe at the media's facilities in Mogadishu.
