Bibby Stockholm barge set to house 500 asylum seekers in UK

Dorset, UK, Jul 20 (EFE/EPA).- (Camera: Neil Hall) The huge boat in which the British Government wants to temporarily house 500 asylum seekers in the United Kingdom is already in the port of Portland, Dorset.

The barge, named Bibby Stockholm, left the bay of Falmouth Harbour, in Cornwall (southwest of the country) last Monday to arrive yesterday at its current location. The ship is expected to be the temporary home for up to 500 adult male asylum seekers in the UK.
