Brussels (Belgium), Apr 23 (EFE/EPA) - Belgian teachers took to the streets of Brussels on Monday in a demonstration calling for increased funding and a reduction in class sizes ahead of national elections in June. French and Flemish-speaking teachers protested together for the first time, highlighting issues such as teacher shortages, class sizes, work overload, funding, care structures (psycho-medical-social centres), qualified education and social promotion.
