Beijing, Jun 23 (EFE).- Beijing authorities raised its hot-weather warning to its highest on Friday, a day after the capital recorded its second-highest temperature since records began with 41.1 degrees Celsius.Amid the heatwave, Beijing hiked its alert for high temperatures from orange to the maximum red on its traffic-light system, as did other provinces in the north of the country such as Hebei, where in several cities the thermometer is expected to reach 42C.
