Beachgoers in southern California enjoy sunbathing against backdrop of energy project

Huntington Beach, Aug 16 (EFE/EPA).- On Wednesday, beachgoers continued having a great time at the Huntington Beach Energy Project, formerly known as AES Huntington Beach.

In a recent decision, authorities in California have chosen to prolong the operational period of three gas-fired power plants situated in southern California until the year 2026. (Camera: CAROLINE BREHMAN).
