Bardella declares that lowering VAT on energy products is among his priorities

Paris (France), Jun 24 (EFE) - The candidate for prime minister of France of the extreme right, Jordan Bardella, stressed Monday his willingness to assert more French interests in Brussels, cut its contribution, and lower VAT, but without breaking the rules of the European Union (EU).

TRANSLATION:

(00'41- 00'53): "Therefore, the reduction of VAT on energy products would mean between now and the end of the year an increase in public expenditure of 7 billion euros; this will be compensated by the elimination of a tax exemption for shipowners for 1.2 billion and a reduction of the contribution to the budget of the European Union of 2 billion euros".

(00'53- 01'07): "The alliance that I lead is today the only credible, responsible alliance, capable of starting the recovery of the country, and of doing so while respecting the institutions, the individual freedoms and, of course, the unity of the nation".
