Bangalore suffers a severe drought

Bangalore (India), Apr 19 (EFE/EPA) - Bangalore is facing a severe water crisis due to intense drought. Wells in many areas of the city have dried up, leaving residents dependent on water tankers.

The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB), the government agency responsible for supplying drinking water to the city, said the situation was manageable in central areas but more serious on the outskirts of the city.
