Badminton star Carolina Marín wins Princess of Asturias Award for Sports

Madrid, May 8 (EFE) - Badminton player Carolina Marín, Olympic champion in Rio de Janeiro, triple world champion and seven-time European champion, said she "dreamed" of the 2024 Princess of Asturias Award for Sports, with which she has been distinguished on Wednesday.

"I have no words. It is a very nice way to recognize my sports career for all the work, effort, dedication and those great goals and dreams I had," said Carolina Marin, during a press conference in Madrid.
