Authorities threaten displaced indigenous Colombians in Bogota with eviction

Bogota, Oct 22 (EFE).- The Colombian authorities threatened on Friday to evict some 1,200 displaced indigenous people from 13 communities from various parts of the country, including around 400 minors, who have been camped in the Bogota National Park for more than 20 days asking for their rights as victims of the conflict.

The indigenous people said they had been forcibly displaced due to armed clashes in their region. (Camera: MAURICIO DUEÑAS/JUAN DIEGO LÓPEZ).
