Asylum applications drop more than 40% in Mexico but migrants remain stranded

Tapachula (Mexico), Jun 17 (EFE).- Asylum applications have fallen by 41.9% so far this year in Mexico to a total of 36,860 but migrants complain that this relief at the southern border is accompanied by legal obstacles to manage the process before the Mexican Commission for Refugee Assistance (Comar).
