Assange's family and WikiLeaks director call for continued fight for founder's release

London (UK), Feb 21 (EFE).- (Camera: Guillermo Garrido) The current director and spokesman for the WikiLeaks portal, Kristin Hrafnsson, called on Wednesday to continue the fight for the release of Julian Assange and said that the prosecution, on behalf of the US justice system, did not bring "anything new" in the process against the Australian journalist.

Hrafnsson spoke before a large number of Assange's supporters at the High Court in London, where the second and final court hearing began on Wednesday to decide on the journalist's extradition to the US, where he is wanted for alleged crimes of espionage and computer intrusion through the WikiLeaks portal.
