Argentina faces Chile during Copa America match

Buenos Aires, Jun 25 (EFE).- Argentina on Tuesday faced Chile in their Copa America match, reflecting on the 46 years since they won their first World Cup under coach César Luis Menotti, in the 1978 tournament held in Argentina.

Menotti's passing on May 5 was a significant loss for Argentine soccer, as he had restored hope to a country that had never before won the prestigious cup, having last claimed a major title at the 1959 Copa America. (Camera: ALBERTO CARATOZZOLO).
