Archaeologists date the remains of the oldest convent church in the Canary Islands

Puerto del Rosario (Fuerteventura), April 18 (EFE).- Excavations carried out in Betancuria (Fuerteventura) have managed to document the original remains of the church of the Franciscan convent of San Buenaventura, founded at the beginning of the 15th century and an example of the first existing conventual mission in the Canary Islands, as announced this Thursday by officials.
