Archaeologists find Bible-era inscription near Kiryat Gat

Kiryat Gat (Israel), Jul 12 (EFE / EPA) .- (Camera: Abir Sultan) Professor Yosef Garfinkel, from the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA), showed on Monday a fragment with a 3,100-year-old inscription that was found in an archaeological dig near Kiryat Gat. According to archaeologists, the inscription shows the name "Jerubbaal", which was the ancient judge Gideon ben Yoash in Biblical times.
