Annual State of Nation Address held ahead of Indonesia's Independence Day

Jakarta, Aug 16 (EFE/EPA).- President Joko Widodo made an annual speech on Tuesday in front of parliament members ahead of the 77th Independence Day at the parliament building in Jakarta.

Indonesia will celebrate its Independence Day on 17 August, which will mark the day in 1945 when the Indonesian National Revolution began resisting the Netherlands and pro-Dutch civilians. (Camera: BAGUS INDAHONO).
