EU announces 40 new ocean commitments and 3.5 billion fund in Athens

Athens (Greece), Apr 16 (EFE) - The European Commissioner for Environment, Oceans, and Fisheries, Virginijus Sinkevicius, announced Tuesday in Athens, as part of the Our Ocean 2024 Conference, the implementation of 40 commitments for action by 2024 by the EU with a fund of 3.5 billion euros.
