Amnol Rai, Nepal's new transgender beauty queen

Kathmandu (Nepal), May 16 (EFE/EPA) - Nepal on Thursday crowned a new transgender beauty queen at the seventh edition of the Miss Pink pageant, a powerful showcase that serves to promote the recognition of the rights of the LGTBI community in the Himalayan country.

Amnol Rai was the winner of this pageant and will represent Nepal at the upcoming transgender beauty pageant in Bangkok.
