Amnesty International, Intermon at Guggenheim to call for an arms embargo on Israel

Bilbao (Spain), May 4 (EFE) - Members of Amnesty International and Oxfam Intermón rallied this Saturday on the esplanade of the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao to demand an arms embargo on Israel.

The two NGOs have held similar events in other cities in Spain and the rest of the world to "increase pressure on countries that continue to send arms to Israel, such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands and Australia".

In the case of Bilbao, around twenty activists gathered with placards with the slogan "Stop sending arms to Israel".
