American art exhibition opens up at Thyssen museum in Spain

Madrid Dec 14 (EFE).- (Camera: EFE/EPA) Nature, crossroads of cultures, urban life and material culture are the main themes of the new American art collection at Madrid’s famed Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum.

Designed to celebrate the centenary of Baron Hans Heinrich Thyssen-Bornemisza’s birth, the “American Art from Thyssen Collection” exhibition kicked off Tuesday, combining artworks from different movements in the 19th and 20th centuries.
