Almada's 'Not a River', Vieira Junior's 'Crooked Plow' among International Booker Prize finalists

London, Apr 9 (EFE) - (Camera: Guillermo Garrido) Argentine writer Selva Almada and Brazilian writer Itamar Vieira Junior are among the finalists for the 2024 International Booker Prize, which every year awards a book of fiction translated into English and published in the UK or Ireland. The organisation announced the shortlist of six finalists on Tuesday, including Almada's 'Not a River' and Vieira Junior's 'Crooked Plow'.
