Alinghi takes first win in America's Cup Preliminary Regatta

Barcelona, Spain, Aug 22 (EFE) - Switzerland's Alinghi Red Bull Racing took the first win of the America's Cup Preliminary Regatta in Barcelona on Thursday against France's Orient Express Racing, scoring the first victory of the third preliminary regatta of the championship with a time of 22m.43s.

The Swiss team, which had not competed in the top nautical competition since 2010, made a great start, driven by helmsman Arnaud Psarofaghis.
