Ainhoa Arteta will close Summer Opera Festival with a single performance of "La Bohème", | Video

Madrid, July 2 (EFE).- After two very hard years of medical leave and recovery in which she feared losing her voice, soprano Ainhoa Arteta boasts an agenda full of projects, among which the most immediate is the protagonist of the opera 'La Bohème' by Giacomo Puccini, which closes the first Summer Opera Festival at the Marquina Theater in Madrid.

The play will be on display from July 3 to 7, although Arteta (Tolosa, 1964) will play the delicate Mimí only on the last night, as a gesture towards his friend Emiliano Suárez, stage director and promoter through Ópera Garage and Okapi Productions of this idea of taking opera outside of the big theaters to make it accessible and close to more people.
