Afghan widows receive help to support their families in Jalalabad

Jalalabad (Afghanistan), Aug 24 (EFE/EPA).- A total of 108 Afghan widows and their families received goats distributed by the Danish-supported Afghan Red Crescent Society in Jalalabad today.

Statements b- Sakina, the woman who received help: "My husband had cancer and died, I was left alone with my young children. I am so glad that we were given this help today. God bless you."

Statements by Shahla, the woman who received the help: "My husband was a martyr in the wars, now I am alone and have four orphaned children. Many thanks to the Afghan Red Crescent Society for helping us."
