Activists demand justice for “environmental” crime of Honduran ecologist

Tegucigalpa, Oct 17 (EFE) - Environmental defenders and human rights activists on Thursday described as “an environmental crime” and “political” the murder of environmentalist Juan Lopez, which occurred on September 14 in Tocoa, department of Colon, in the Caribbean of Honduras, and demanded the closure of an open pit mine.
