90-year-old plus Australian lungfish is oldest captive fish in US

San Francisco, Jan 13 (EFE/EPA).- A 90-year-old plus Australian lungfish named Methuselah is now the oldest living fish in captivity in the United States.

The fish was acquired in 1938 by the Steinhart Aquarium in San Francisco and was brought to the US in a steamship from Queensland, Australia.

Biologist are unsure whether Methuselah is a male or female. (Camera: JOHN MABANGLO).
