More than 8,000 people take part in Haro Wine Battle | Video

Haro (Spain), Jun 29 (EFE).- More than eight thousand people participated this Saturday morning in the Wine Battle of Haro, which took place in the surroundings of the chapel of San Felices of this municipality, where the threat of rain has not prevented this bloody festive confrontation.

In this unique "fight" more than 40,000 liters of wine have been used, which have been poured over the bodies of the thousands of people who, equipped with all kinds of "weapons", from water pistols to sulfating machines, have participated in an event declared a Festival of National Tourist Interest since 2011.
