1,418 candles lit in Moscow to commemorate beginning of Great Patriotic War

Moscow, Jun 21 (EFE/EPA).- Volunteers attended Tuesday the 'Line of Memory' event in Moscow to commemorate the 81st anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War and the Day of Memory and Sorrow.

Volunteers had to light 1,418 candles, each symbolizes the days of the war. (Camera: ANATOLI MALTSEV).
