Pakistan intensifies efforts to save second round of US-Iran talks

Islamabad, Apr 23 (EFE).- Pakistan assured the US Charge d'Affaires on Thursday that it is maintaining "every possible effort, at all levels" to salvage the second round of negotiations between Washington and Iran scheduled to take place in Islamabad.

Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi conveyed this stance during a meeting with the Charge d'Affaires of the US Embassy, Natalie Baker.

The discussion focused on diplomatic efforts to launch the second round of peace talks between Tehran and Washington in the Pakistani capital. (Camera: ÁLVARO MELLIZO).
