Beirut, Nov 21 (EFE).- Lebanon's Economy Minister Amin Salam has warned that the war between Israel and Hezbollah will have a devastating impact on the country’s already flagging economy.

In an interview with EFE, Salam said unemployment was at 50% and the country’s GDP was expected to decline by 6% to 8%.

The situation has meant Lebanese authorities are "renegotiating" alternatives to a stalled bailout agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
