Prime Minister Sunak states "Labour Party won UK general election"

London, Jul 5 (EFE).- British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak admitted on Friday the defeat of the Conservative Party by stating that "the Labour Party has won the general election."

Sunak apologized for what is expected to be a historic defeat for his party and took responsibility, while also announcing that he would step down as head of the Government in the coming hours. (Camera: HANDOUT).
