SPAIN STRIKE
Advisor of the Strike Commitee of Eulen workers, Juan Carlos Jimenez (R), and Eulen's Security manager, Emilio Garcia Perulles (L), recieve the decision of the mediator designed by the Government on the conflict between the workers and the company, Marcos Pena (C), in Madrid, Spain, 31 August 2017. Eulen airport control workers at El Prat airport in Barcelona called an indefinite strike on 14 August 2017, after various weeks of partial strikes, which was cancelled after the terrorist attacks on 17 August. Finally, the Government appointed Pena as a mediator between parts to decide a solution to the conflict. According to Pena's decision, the company will have to establish a 200 euro per year bonus for each worker and will have to cancel the sanctions applied by the company against workers after the strike that was cancelled due to the terrorist attacks in Catalonia.
