A sculture depicting Queen Mary inside an assembly hall of the Queen Mary 2, the newest and largest cruise ship in the world, docked in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, south-western Spain, Saturday 17 January 2004. A total of 2,620 privileged passengers were aboard the British Queen Mary 2 travelling from Southampton, Britain, to Florida, United States, during the inaugural cruise of the ocean liner.
