ESPAÑA-XVII VUELTA CICLISTA A ESPAÑA
VALENCIA, 29/04/1962.- Un grupo de corredores, entre los que se encuentran Gabriel Company (76), Martín Piñera (66), Jan Legrand (60) y Agostino Correia (27), cruza por un barrizal tratando de acceder al estadio del Vallejo, donde finaliza la tercera etapa de la Vuelta Ciclista a España, que se ha disputado hoy entre Tortosa y Valencia con un recorrido de 188 kilómetros. La victoria de etapa ha sido para el italiano Nino Defilippis y, por segundo día consecutivo, el alemán Rudi Altig se mantiene en el primer puesto de la clasificación general. Italian Nino Defilippis won at the impromptu finish line of the 3rd stage of the 17th edition of the Tour of Spain cycling race. This stage, 188 kms long, run between Tortosa and Valencia. A rainstorm made impassable the acces to 'Campo del Vallejo' stadium where arrival was foreseen. Belgian Pauwels got access to that finish line ahead the pack, but victory was awarded to Defilippis.
