BARCELONA, 01/05/1970.- Los corredores del Fagor (i-d) Eddy Peelman, maillor verde, y Gerard Briend cargan con su bicicleta, después de sufrir una caida cerca de la meta del circuito de Montjuich, en Barcelona, al final de la octava etapa de la Vuelta Ciclista a España, disputada hoy entre Tarragona y Barcelona, sobre un recorrido de 100 kms. El español Ramón Saez (Werner) ha ganado la etapa y el holandés René Pijnen se mantiene al frente de la clasificación general.
