SEVILLA, 07/04/1984.- El presidente de la Juventud Demócrata Popular, Javier Arenas (c), acompañado por el secretario y el vicesecretario del partido, Gerardo Galeote (i) y José Ramón Pin (d), presenta su dimisión del cargo en el I Congreso de la Juventud Demócrata Popular que hoy se ha clausurado en Sevilla. Con la dimisión de Arenas desaparece el cargo y Galeote ostenta la máxima autoridad en el partido.
