Commemoration of the arrival of Moluccans in Amsterdam
Amsterdam (Netherlands), 29/04/2026.- Relatives lay a rose at a new monument in recognition of the efforts of Moluccan marines in 1946, during its unveiling in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, 29 April 2026. In 1946, the first Moluccan men came to the Netherlands for training with the Royal Netherlands Navy, after which they served in active service in Amsterdam, as well as in Indonesia and other parts of the Kingdom.
