Yemeni children train at a karate self-defense center

The center houses 17 children, but when there is transportation that number can increase to 50 in a country that is experiencing an economic collapse and a humanitarian crisis due to more than seven years of war. More than two million school-age children in Yemen are out of school, accounting for more than a quarter of school-age children, due to the Arab country's protracted war, according to UNICEF estimates.
