Venezuelan university student John Álvarez released after nearly four months in jail

Caracas, Dec 23 (EFE) - Venezuelan authorities on Saturday released university student John Álvarez, imprisoned since Aug. 30 on charges of conspiracy and association to commit a crime, after which he was subjected to "torture", according to human rights organizations.
