Caracas, Dec 2 (EFE), (Camera: Jackdwin Sáez) - The Venezuelan government and the U.S. company Chevron signed contracts in Caracas on Friday for the continuation of joint oil production in the Caribbean country, which will be possible thanks to the easing of economic sanctions by the United States.The Minister of Petroleum, Tareck El Aissami, celebrated the signing of the "important contracts", of which he did not offer further details, which were signed by several officials, among them the president of the Venezuelan state-owned oil company PDVSA, Asdrúbal Chávez, and the president of Chevron in the country, Javier La Rosa.
