Tokyo stock plunges nearly 1,300 points, biggest single-day loss in 8 years

Tokyo, Jul 25 (EFE/EPA).- The Nikkei Stock Average was down 1,285.34 points, or 3.28 per cent, to close at 37,869.51 on Thursday, the biggest single-day loss in eight years while Japanese currency rose to near mid-152 yen level against US dollar. (Camera: KIMIMASA MAYAMA).
