Tokyo stock markets show volatility as Nikkei falls 1.23 percent

Tokyo, Mar 7 (EFE/EPA).- On Thursday, the Nikkei Stock Average experienced a significant decline, closing the day at 39,598.71, a fall of 492.07 points, or 1.23%.

This decline came after the index briefly touched 40,472 points during the morning trading session.
