Thomas J. Price's figuration enters Chillida's abstract universe

San Sebastian (Spain), Feb 16 (EFE) - (Camera: Julen Zubillaga) British artist Thomas J. Price has never exhibited his work in Spain. Now he is doing so for the first time at Chillida Leku, where one of his monumental sculptures, "Reaching Out", which shows a young black woman looking at a cell phone screen, will be on display until May 30.

This piece, made of silicon bronze and almost three meters long, is the second "guest work" of the museum dedicated to Eduardo Chillida, after "Eye Benches III", by Louise Bourgeois in 2020 and 2021, which will be on display in Hernani (Gipuzkoa).
