Thai elephant gives birth to rare twins of both sexes

Ayutthaya, Jun 11 (EFE).- An elephant in Thailand has given birth to twins of both sexes, an unusual phenomenon that has generated great interest in the calves in the province of Ayutthaya.

The Royal Elephant Kraal Village said on its Facebook page that the calves were born last Friday – first the male, weighing 80 kilograms, and 18 minutes later the 60 kg female, who will be named in the coming days. (Camera: HANDOUT).
