Special Jurisdiction for Peace asks Colombian government to respect the estimated timeline of peace process

Bogota, Sep 26 (EFE).- The Special Jurisdiction for Peace (JEP), which was created after the peace agreement with the then FARC guerrillas, asked the government on Thursday to respect the separation of powers and the autonomy of this special justice, after the adviser commissioner for peace, Otty Patiño, said that they should work on the closure of this justice, which was born with a maximum term of 20 years.
